This project explores the effect of industry on the landscape and how the natural landscape features are impacted by the industrial development of an area; the ability of nature to exert itself in adverse conditions; and the connection between this area and the climate crisis in relation to rising sea levels. The project sought to raise awareness of industry's contribution to the climate emergency through visual imagery of a specific industrial landscape near the Severn Estruary. Sustainable darkroom practices and alternative processes were used to produce final prints that have a minimal impact on the enviroment. A selection of images were included in a student exhibition at the PhotoFrome Festival in 2023.
